EnTrans Earns Two TTMA Plant Safety Awards
Athens, TN – (Trailer Technician) – Engineered Transportation International (EnTrans) has been awarded two 2024 Plant Safety Awards by the Truck Trailer Manufacturers Association (TTMA) for outstanding safety records. Over the last 10 years, EnTrans has won 15 TTMA Plant Safety Awards.
The Kalyn Siebert facility in Gatesville, Texas, was recognized in Trailer Category B, which includes manufacturing plants with 350,000 to 750,000 man-hours per year. EnTrans’ Athens Trailer Operations in Athens, Tennessee—where Heil Trailer and Polar Tank Trailer products are manufactured—was recognized in Tank Category B, also for facilities with 350,000 to 750,000 man-hours per year.
TTMA has been awarding Plant Safety Awards for over 50 years. Award winners are selected based on an evaluation and ranking taken from injury data recorded on the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) annual injury reports.
