Brake Drag

Brake drag occurs when the brake pads or shoes fail to completely release after the brake pedal is released. This causes lining or pads to maintain contact with the brake drum or rotor, possibly resulting in excessive lining, drum and disc wear. Brake drag can also result in excessive heat generation which could lead to a thermal event.
