National Truck Driving Championships (NTDC)
Hosted by the American Trucking Associations (ATA), the National Truck Driving Championships (NTDC) is a yearly competition for professional truck drivers. Drivers that participate in the competition have a chance to demonstrate his or her driving and inspection skills, knowledge and professionalism through a series of tests. The drivers undergo a written examination, pre-trip inspection test and a skills test.
Event Highlights
- Event dates back to1937 when it was known as the National Truck Rodeo.
- The NTDC takes place in conjunction with the National Step Van Driving Championships (NSVDC).
- Eligibility: Drivers must be accident-free for at least one year prior to the competition.
