MOTOR Sponsors 2023 TechForce Foundation Scholarships

TROY, MI – (Trailer Technician) – MOTOR Information Systems is honored to announce the MOTOR Scholarship for Diverse Technicians, offered in association with the TechForce Foundation. Two scholarships will be awarded to high school students pursuing a technical education in automotive.

The TechForce Foundation is the only nonprofit committed to the career exploration and workforce development of professional technicians across all sectors, including but not limited to automotive, aviation, collision, diesel and motorsports. TechForce encourages people to explore the technician profession and supports students obtaining the technical education needed to be workforce-ready.

Entries for MOTOR’s new scholarship will be evaluated based on the applicants’ financial need, aspirations for a technical career in automotive and cultural background. Each applicant must create a TechForce profile and submit an application online.

“MOTOR strives to support the industry,” says MOTOR President Jeff Nosek. “This includes promoting diversity in the industry whenever possible. We are honored to offer these scholarships that help advance the careers of individuals interested in this technical field. Even as the technician shortage continues, we know the next generation of techs is out there and eager to learn.”

Applications are open through Tuesday, October 31. For more information, please visit the TechForce Foundation’s scholarship page.
