Fleetway Merging with Broadway Brake

Fleetway To Merge With Broadway Brake

Fleetway has announced plans to merge with Broadway Brake in Somerville MA. This merger has been in the plans since father and son, Phil and Steve D’Angelo, bought Fleetway back in August of 2017.

“This is the perfect combination where Fleetway was concentrating more on the trailer and suspension parts and Broadway Brake was focusing more on the truck and engine parts and service, it allows for a larger mix of parts and a more comprehensive service offering going forward”, said Steve D’Angelo.

The plan is to keep both company names but operate as one company under one roof, where Fleetway will be the parts side of the business and Broadway Brake being the service side of the business. Fleetway will start moving soon and complete by the end of 2019. Fleetway will take on more truck and engine parts and Broadway Brake will take on more trailer service work.

Broadway Brake Corp. started over 80 years ago by Charles D’Angelo and has been running as a successful family owned parts and service business in Somerville MA at 45 Broadway which is now a staple landmark in the area.

Fleetway Heavy Duty Parts started about 15 years prior to the D’Angelo’s buying it and originally was located in Malden MA but relocated to 91 Hicks Ave in Medford MA back in March of 2009 where it has been ever since.
