Doonan Specialized Trailer Acquires Chaparral Manufacturing
Doonan Specialized Trailer, LLC has acquired the assets of Chaparral Manufacturing, Inc. Chaparral has been producing a line of all-aluminum platform trailers in Moundridge, Kansas, since 1986. In 2007, the company produced approximately 400 trailers.
According to Mike Gordy, co-manager of Doonan Specialized Trailer, LLC, “the relocation of the Moundridge facility will be complete by the end of May and we are truly excited that 30% of the Chaparral team will join us in this transition.”
